W-League Team needs MAGIC to Regroup!

Tough Loss against NJ Wildcats, 1-5

The New York Magic W-League team experienced a tough loss (1-5) against the NJ Wildcats on Saturday, May 24 in NJ.  The Magic came out strong scoring their first and only goal of the game in the 9th minute of play by a beautifully excuted goal from young forward, Donna Kay Henry.  The Magic has the potential to be a much stronger team than it showed on the pitch last night and the team will have to regroup and work hard to get over the disappointing loss.

The Magic players are determined to step up in the upcoming games to show their potential as a solid competitive team!!

One minute after young forward, DK Henry, scored  the first goal of the game for the Magic, the Magic defense let down and allowed the Wildcats to score three consecutive goals to put the Wildcats up (3-1) in the first half.  The Magic tried to mount a come back and started attacking the Wildcats’ goal, but again the Magic defense let down, and allowed two more unfortunate goals, one on a penalty kick and the other an own goal, and the game finished there.
