During the "off season" the USL W-League teams try to keep the competitive edge, they continue to train players and prepare for the following season.  Towards that end, many New York Magic players choose to play together in the off-season with the New York Magic Reserves.  The Magic Reserves offer an opportunity to local players to train and keep game fit and phyiscally sharp for the W-League season. 

The Reserves season starts on March 2008....and the players look forward to staying game fit and competitive.
